Will half of Christendom miss the rapture? That’s a lot and that is terrifying.
If the parable of Matthew 25 is anything to go by, 50% of Christians’ risk not going with the Bridegroom! Jesus said there were 10 virgins, chaste and undefiled. Virgin talks of holiness and purity. The 10 had light in their lamps meaning that they were “light of the world”. They were all eager to meet and go with the Bridegroom and they all undertook the journey. But only 5 were ready, other 5 were not ready! “And they that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the dour was shut! Matthew25:10.
Does that typify the current breed of Christians – half ready and half not ready? The disciples asked “Lord, are there few that be saved?” Jesus said “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When the Master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying Lord, Lord, open unto us, and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are” Luke 13;23,24.
Friend, where do you stand? You cannot mock God and you shouldn’t deceive yourself. Are you ready for the rapture? You may have been born into a different religion, or be a leader in a church or be highly acclaimed, the bottom line is are you ready? You are your own responsibility. If you miss it, it would be out of your own negligence, not out of not being informed.
Invite Jesus into your heart now.
“Lord Jesus, only You can say who will make it at the end. I really wish to be among the few that are saved. Please, save me and give me the extra oil. Let me be ready at the appearance of the
Bridegroom and go with Him. This! ask in Jesus’ Name. (Amen).
